This morning we got up bright and early to be at the zoo when the gates opened at 9 am! Everyone was looking forward to seeing all their favorite animals.
It wouldn't be a trip to the zoo without stopping for a photo op in the Bald Eagle nest.
Lilly and Ethan both love climbing in the Prairie Dog tunnels.
On the carousel, Ethan rode a river otter and Lilly chose to sit on the bench behind us.

Trapped in the roots - OH NO!
and...it wouldn't be at great trip unless Ethan falls asleep before we even leave the parking lot - this time snuggling his new Okapi.
