Santa, Santa, HO! HO! HO!!!!!!!!!!

We had a terrific Christmas this year and hope you all did as well. We started it out by making and decorating Christmas cookies to share with friends and neighbors. Lilly is an old pro at it, and Ethan caught on real fast.

We went to Mom's for a little bit, then headed over to Phoebe's to open all our presents on Christmas Eve.

Lilly was really excited with every gift she received. Ethan was having such a good time with his gifts that he never even got around to opening everything.

The kids came out on Christmas morning to a pile of presents from Santa - I guess they were pretty good this year. Lilly didn't know what to start with first. Ethan went straight to the tractor, then to his basket ball goal.

One of their favorite Santa gifts are turtles that shine stars on the ceiling and all around their rooms at night. They spent most of Christmas day in the dark playing with them.

Santa also brought Lilly a big girl, Hello Kitty blow dryer. It may take a while before she can get the hang of it.

Merry Christmas!

Last weekend we went with Brady to have Breakfast with Santa in Crosby. There was lots to do there - we did lots of crafts and got Christmas tattoos.

Ethan had a blast with the crafts as well.

We had pancakes and sausage for breakfast with hot chocolate to drink.

There was even a hayride to finish up our fun with.

Later that night was Lilly's first (and probably last) dance recital. She was in a tap number and did the best out of everyone in her class. She was very proud of herself.

We also made a gingerbread house. Ethan got to help which made him VERY excited!

Let it Snow! Let it Snow! Let it Snow!

This year we got Lilly a tree of her very own for her room. She is constantly rearranging the ornaments and switching them out with others from our tree. She is very proud of it.

On Wednesday, December 10th we actually got snow! and a lot of it. There was a good 3 inches covering our yard when we went to sleep that night. The kids a great time playing in it.

Christmas Pictures

I hope everyone is enjoying this Christmas Season! We are and it has been very busy. We took some family photos in "Dewey" my school's mascot. The kids a a great time playing in the old truck.

We also took some more professional photos - the kids weren't quite as happy about that, but we got a few good ones anyway!

Halloween

Halloween was a blast this year. Ethan was superman and Lilly was a pink supergirl. Ethan loves his costume (especially the cape).

Ethan had his first pony ride at the Fall Festival at the church.
He also enjoyed his very first sucker. Now he wants to eat all candy that has a stick coming out of it.

After the fall festival we went back to our house to Trick-or-Treat.

The kids had a great time and have lots of candy to eat.
We still can't get the cape off of Ethan!

Lilly's 4th Birthday!

Lilly's 4th birthday was on Tuesday, October 21st. We surprised her after school that day with her very first "big girl" bike. She is alsmost ready to hit the road on a family bike ride.
That weekend we had a fantastic 4th birthday party at Jumpin' Joey's. It took me awhile to find Lilly, so my first photos were only of Ethan who also had a blast.

Our cousins had a good time too!

Here is Grant trying to pry himself out of the train.

After 1 hour and 15 minutes of jumping fun, it was finally time for pizza and cake.
I made the cake again this year, but since I didn't have as much time it wasn't quite as elaborate.

After cake it was present time! Lilly got a lot of really great stuff.
When we got home she instisted on playing with all her new toys. She continued to play until she passed out on the coffee table.
We all had a great time!
