Today was the 1st soccer game of the season. This is Lilly's first year to play and Sam is coaching her team of 9 three to four year old girls. This is Lilly all dressed in her gear and ready to stomp the other team.
We met up with Kate and Avery (school friends) who are also on her team. Everyone was ready to play some soccer!
Lilly tried for a while...
before stopping to pick at her thumb and chase the dragonflies.
Oh...and there was the flag she kept pulling out of the ground while the Yellow Lollipops were kicking goal after goal on us.
Finally...Lilly decided to get in on the action. She did pretty good once she decided to play.
The 4th quarter was spent laying in the middle of the field with Mom hoping she wouldn't get run over by those who were actually playing soccer.
Hopefully next week will be better! But she says she had a good time?!?
